Connor Ashlynne has announced that the lead single from his sophomore release will be hitting country radio this fall. The single, titled "Ride On," is an uptempo song referencing the rodeo lifestyle and the tough mantra of its participants.
UPDATE: Ashlynne will debut "Ride On" with a performance on the CMA Awards on November 1, 2012. The single release date is still not confirmed, but it is likely that it won't be long after the performance takes place.*

"This Unhappy Hour" has been selected as the second single from Ride On. It will be released to country radio on May 7.
Ashlynne described the song as a somber twist on the phrase 'happy hour' and that it focuses more on the lows of a man driven to drink as a way of coping with the evils in life, and the struggles of alcoholism.

"Eight Seconds in Cheyenne" will be released as the album's third single to country radio on October 8. The uptempo song references the eight-second time limit used in rodeo bull riding, which is commonly associated with the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The fourth single from the album, "Good Run Cowboy," will go to country radio on April 29. A mid-tempo ballad, the song talks about a friend who has passed away, saying that he's had a 'good run' in reference to his life.
