The current wiki-site has been plagued with problems from the start. The latest issue that seems to come up a lot is the wiki itself just not working for extended periods of time. I thought we'd try out a new wiki site for the game. What do you all think of this one? themusicbiz.wikia.com/wiki/The_Music_Biz_WikiI'd like input before I make this the new official week. Thanks

I don't like the fact I can't transfer data from the other wiki smoothly. I think I'll stick with the old one for now.

But it takes the 'wiki' formatting from tables and stuff, and clumps it together. Then I have to reorganize it. Unless there's an another way.

Nevermind, I just learned how to use this wiki. I will now be trying to transfer my data over.

I like the original one better. :/ Because it's more Wikipedia-like?

I'm not sure whether to use this new one or not. I like how it's much easier to edit and what not and is never down. I'm trying to find one more Wikipedia like that doesn't like not work all the time. It gets highly irritating when I'm editing information on the Wiki and then the wiki just stops working in the middle of it.

Nah, I'd stick with the new one. Now that I'm used to this new one, I don't want to move on again!

I haven't been having any problems with the original Wiki site. It used to get spammed, but ever since that math problem confirmation was introduced, it seems to have worked to eliminate that. I don't like the new one and I find it confusing to navigate.

I've started transferring stuff over to the new Wiki now, but I'm noticing it looks like the page width is a lot smaller on this one. Is there any way that I can make my singles tables longer in width so things can all fit on one line? I tried to changing the widths, but it seems like if I expand one thing (like the Certifications column), then everything else shrinks. For reference, I've done Kymbyrly Creek's so far and several things aren't fitting and its giving me a bad case of OCD.

It's because of the box on the right side of the site. I'm not sure you can collapse it, but I know you can when you edit a page.

Bumping this because the Wiki is a little outdated/underdeveloped with respect to some of the record labels.

^ Agreed. Also a point I'd like to bring up regarding chart positions of songs recorded on the wiki; for most radio charts, the top 40 are the only official positions, therefore you shouldn't post positions for songs below that threshold. Exceptions to this rule are the Adult Contemporary, Country Songs, and Triple A charts, with have 30, 60, and 30 official positions, respectively.

Exceptions to this rule are the Adult Contemporary, Country Songs, and Triple A charts, with have 30, 60, and 30 official positions, respectively. The only time I post positions that would ordinarily not be 'charted' is if it was officially released to that format. For instance, Kymbyrly Creek has never had an official pop single, but most of her releases end up on the lower regions of that chart anyway. But if one of my CHR/Pop singles peaked outside Top 40, I still like to keep record of that. I understand what you're saying though.
