Kymbyrly Creek's Year Is Shaping Up to Be a Big One[/size] Country star Kymbyrly Creek just announced the release of her new single, the second from her forthcoming sophomore record. The song, a soaring power ballad titled "My Heart Is Set On Lovin' the Hell Out of You," will impact country radio on July 3, 2012, the same day that her new album, Heartland, will be hitting stores.
Creek's announcement comes on the heels of wrapping up an impressive six week stay at No. 1 on the country chart with lead single "Girls Gotta Stick Together." It marks Creek's second appearance at the top of the country charts, and far surpasses the single-week stay of "Let's Go Back to Missouri" one year earlier.
The No. 1 credit for "Girls Gotta Stick Together" is also shared with fellow country stars Amanda Madison, Kassidy Manning, and Lisa Correll. It marks Lisa Correll's first time at No. 1, while becoming the second for Manning and the third for Madison.
Creek has reportedly been working on finalizing the details of her second headlining tour in support of Heartland, with a public reveal of dates and setlist expected soon.

"It Gets Better" will be released to country radio August 27 and serve as the fifth single from Heartland.
Kymbyrly Creek believes the song has a special meaning "that needs to be heard." The lyrics to the song are non-specific in a way that they can be interpreted to fit whatever the listener has overcome as far as personal struggles in their life, but Creek feels one important group the single will touch is the gay community. "This song is a really powerful statement and I think that's one of many interpretations this song can hold and I feel passionately about this as a single. The beauty of a song like this is that I'll be able to hopefully touch the hearts of everyone, each for a different reason, and without the need to preach and turn off listeners."
Of the forthcoming music video, she also said, "I plan for the video to be the same way and we'll showcase a multitude of different stories through that run the gamut from overcoming something like the death of a loved one to overcoming bullying and attempted suicide."
